What you need to know about MOTs:
Every light commercial goods vehicle over three years’ old should have an annual MOT by law.
An MOT pass certificate only confirms your vehicle met or exceeded the minimum legal standards as provided by VOSA (Vehicle and Operator Services Agency) at the time of the inspection. What’s more, it’s important to note that having an MOT isn’t the same as having a service.
Class 7 MOT covers the following vehicles:
Light commercial goods vehicles weighing between 3,000-3,500kg DGW
The overall condition of a vehicles bodywork and structure is checked during an MOT test, along with the following:

Class 4 MOT cost: £55 with a FREE retest if the vehicle fails.*
